Alex and I met on the
Internet, in September of 1998. We found nearly instant magic between
us, and we talked and emailed constantly. In November of 1998, Alex
drove 4-1/2 hours to see me, and surprised me with flowers, chocolates,
and a beautiful poem.
We dated for five months, and we both were sure we'd found true love, our soulmates, and the person we each wanted to share the rest of our lives with. In March of 1999, I moved from the San Francisco Bay to Santa Barbara, CA to be with Alex. We've been together ever since, and while it's not always been easy, we're both still very much in love.
